Case #4: The Tokeland Hotel
Intro
After hearing about the activity at the Tokeland Hotel in Tokeland, Washington, we decided to contact the management to find more information on the building. We were then put into contact with another local group, named Auburn Paranormal Activities Research Team (A.P.A.R.T.), who was hosting a paranormal event at the hotel. They invited to participate, and we, of course, agreed.
The Investigation
We arrived at the hotel on March 27th 2009. We only had two investigators, but we knew other groups had been invited as well. Our host group let us know that we would be investigating the following day, so we went to our rooms, and charged our equipment for the next night. Nothing occurred to either of us in the night. So, the next day, our host group put the smaller groups together with other groups, so we were joined in our investigation by a couple out of Oregon. We started our investigation at around 8:00pm. There were tales of different activity in individual rooms, but we had to wait our turn as others were investigating. We methodically went through the different rooms in the hotel, but didnt really get any feelins or personal experiences throughout the entire evening. After about 4 hours, we decided that we were going to call it a night.
Reviewing the Evidence
We reviewed all the evidence, audio, video, and picture files, but we found nothing that we would consider paranormal.
Conclusion
The Hotel was very active with the different groups going to and fro, so a lot of the evidence was contaminated with outside sources. Because of this, we are classifying this case as: inconclusive. We are hoping to investigate the hotel again in the future.
