Jory Chaney

Co-founder, lead investigator, tech manager.

Jory has been interested in the paranormal field for most of his life. His parents raised him to believe that ghosts are real and they can have an affect on our lives. He started amateur investigations with his friends, searching the internet for haunted places and going there to see what would happen. In june of 2007, he had the idea of forming a paranormal investigation group to help those who were unsure of what was happening in there homes and places of business. He brainstormed with his Mother, Susan, and they decided that this would be a good idea. He has always been proficient with technology, and since the members totaled so few, he took on the role of tech manager, as well as lead investigator.

Susan McCook-Lamore

Co-Founder, lead investigator, secretary.

Susan grew up being taught that the supernatural and paranormal are actually natural and normal. We just don’t understand them. She has had many experiences throughout her life such as hearing disembodied voices, seeing shadow people, and poltergeist activity. She knows that people, even those who believe, don’t say anything because they may be labeled as crazy. It was exciting to learn that there are those who are investigating the paranormal using scientific equipment and objective methods. When Susan’s son, Jory, approached her with the idea of forming a group she knew she had found a way to follow her passion – proving, to the best of her ability, the reality of the paranormal. Together, they formed the Washington Association of Supernatural Phenomenon and have never looked back.

Jennine Devenuti

Investigator

Jennine's interest in the paranormal was created through childhood stories told to her by her grandmother. Although she has not personally experienced any unexplainable phenomena, it is from her grandmother's stories that she is curious about the possibility of the supernatural. She is genuinely interested in the research and discovery process of paranormal phenomena. She is excited to actually discover something that may not be dis-proven through scientific investigation. She enjoys the media capture of video and audio on investigations and looks forward to capturing interesting EVP's.

She would like to say:
"I appreciate the process of a thorough investigation so that all of the possible explanations have been considered. Everything I've learned about investigating has been from my fellow WASP members Jory and Susan."
